THE A338 Spur Road will be closed overnight on Thursday and Friday as part of the ongoing scheme at Blackwater Junction.

The southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am on both days.

During the overnight works, steel barriers will be moved to the verge to enable the road to be re-opened to two lanes for the Christmas period.

Work will be suspended from Monday, December 10, until Monday, January 7.

There will also be a northbound lane two closure on Thursday and Friday nights while work in the central reserve is finished.
