A MILITARY veteran who went missing ahead of a trial in Poole has been found.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Lee Baker, who has recently transitioned and identifies as a woman, after she was convicted of several offences by magistrates.
The defendant, who now goes by the name Tiffany Aching, was accused of three counts of breaching a restraining order and stalking. Baker was convicted of two breaches of the order and the stalking offence. The offences happened in Bournemouth between July 2017 and September of this year.
She did not attend the trial.
Police in Leicestershire had been searching for Baker, 47, since Friday, November 23 when she was reported missing.
The defendant, of Pymm Ley Lane in Leicester, hadn't been seen since the weekend of November 16 and 17.
On Tuesday, December 11, magistrates at Poole heard Baker has been found and is currently being treated at a psychiatric hospital.
The sentencing hearing was adjourned until January for an update on her mental health.
