A CHRISTCHURCH beauty spot has been tarnished by the remains of a cannabis farm for the second time this year.
Dozens more black bin bags filled with peat, stems and dead leaves were strewn across five separate areas along the side of Dudmoor Lane.
The waste also includes fertiliser containers and grow light tablets.
Dorset Police said it was not an incident they could take direct action against.
A force spokesperson said the dumping of cannabis related items was not a criminal offence and they would only act in a situation when cannabis is being cultivated.
In April, the Christchurch Times reported on an almost identical situation along Dudmoor Lane.
Both that fly-tip and the recent incident have occurred on private land meaning it is the landowner’s responsibility to clear it.
