FORECASTERS have warned of snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday – but Dorset is unlikely to be affected.
A 'yellow' warning – meaning severe weather is possible – has been issued by the Met Office for a large part of the UK. Snow may fall between the Midlands and the south, it is believed.
Here are our thoughts for tomorrow afternoon and evening. Coastal areas will struggle to see snow settling in any of the snow watch areas other than the far SE. I will update as things change. stay tuned to the Met Office for official warnings #UKsnow @Bournemouthecho pic.twitter.com/XfK1DtXQyX

It currently appears that any snow will miss Dorset altogether.
The warning is in place between 9pm on Tuesday and 12noon on Wednesday.
There is a 'small chance' of travel delays, with travellers becoming stranded and cancelled rail and air journeys, it is said.
Some rural communities may also become cut off, it is said.
According to the Met Office, Dorset is likely to see heavy rain on Tuesday, with temperatures dropping to -1C.
There is likely to be bright sun and blue skies on Wednesday. The mercury will drop ever lower to -2C.
