REMARKS made about Brexit by Boris Johnson have been splashed on a billboard in Christchurch.
The hoarding has been put in place by campaign group Led By Donkeys, who have done similar acts all over the country.
The billboard in Bridge Street features Mr Johnson’s Twitter profile with the words: “Brexit means Brexit and we’re going to make a titanic success of it.”
He reportedly said these words at an awards ceremony.
An image of the sinking Titanic has also been plastered next to the quote on the billboard, which sits behind the bus stop near Stony Lane South. Nationally, hoardings have been placed with quotes from Nigel Farage, Dominic Raab and Andrea Leadsom.
Led By Donkeys have also paid a visit to Bournemouth, where a quote by former Brexit secretary Dominic Raab has been pasted onto a billboard outside Tennessee Takeout in Wimborne Road.
Sorry to have to ask again, but @DominicRaab blocked us so can someone let him know he's on the side of another takeaway. This time it's the Tennessee Takeout on Wimborne Rd, Bournemouth (they mostly do pizza but there's some fried chicken there too if that's your thing). pic.twitter.com/Cxula2dOkZ

The quote reads: "I hadn't quite understood the full extent of this but... we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing."
