THE thing with this mighty three-disc, 50 track career-spanning overview of Bob Dylan's recorded history it that it can only leave you wanting more. Each disc covers a few years and a lifetime and almost demands you fill in the gaps - even Bob at his most obtuse and confused still got plenty to say.
Hard to imagine some ears have never been blessed by Like A Rolling Stone or The Times They Are A-Changin' or All Along The Watchtower or Lay Lady Lay - defining moments one and all - but the familiarity of those songs allows others to shine through. I Shall Be Released, Song For Woody, Tangled Up In Blue, Blind Willie McTell will be revelations to some and such impressions will demand they seek out entire albums to hear even more. Peerless.
