WINNING one international championship is impressive but, not wanting to rest on her laurels, Jean Fail picked up the pace and now holds four titles.
A victory in the 80m hurdles women's 55-59 category at the World Masters Championships in Riccione, Italy handed the 58-year-old yet another medal to add to her impressive collection.
Fail, who is the current European indoor and outdoor and world indoor and outdoor champion, is still improving.
"Last year I broke the UK and European record in the indoor event and, even though I'm getting to the top end of the age group, this year is the fastest I've run in three years," the Bournemouth AC member told the Daily Echo.
"To be world champion again is a good feeling."
Fail is looking for a sponsor to help finance her season. If you are interested call 01202 533856.
