RESIDENTS are two days away from casting their votes in the first BCP Council local elections on Thursday.
A total of 322,307 people in the BCP Council area are registered and eligible to vote in what will be an historic election day for the three towns.
Around 39,000 people have opted to have their say using a postal vote although there have been significant delays in getting some of them. A large number electors will now miss out.
The majority of electors will be exercising their democratic right by visiting their local polling station between 7am and 10pm.
However, following the Boundary Commission boundary review, some residents may find their polling station is now located in a different place to the one they have become used to and all residents are urged to check beforehand.
Your local polling station is listed on your polling card.
