JACK, the cat that was nearly cut in half, is back home making an excellent recovery - but the incident has left his eight-year-old owner with nightmares.
The two-year-old ginger tomcat is safely home in Creekmoor, Poole, after Thursday's attack and his life-saving operation on Friday.
But owner Joanne is suffering nightmares because of the mutilation', said her mum Louise Dyke.
Mrs Dyke thanked Cats' Protection, vet Duncan Reavell from Lynwood Veterinary Hospital in Wimborne, and Sarah Whitbourne from Poole Council, for their help.
