THE return to Carnoustie eight years after Jean Van De Velde's antics in the Barry Burn saw arguably the best Open of recent times, with an emotional Padraig Harrington beating Spain's Sergio Garcia in a tense four-hole play-off.
It was the first Major win by a European since Paul Lawrie's victory, and marked the first time in 60 years that an Irishman had captured the Claret Jug. With Argentina's Andres Romero very much in the mix on the final day, this was a keenly-contested championship, with Tiger Woods, for once, out of the running.
This hour-long DVD captures all the drama of the 136th Open, and also includes features on the Amateur and Senior events.
