FORMER 2CR-FM presenter and BBC producer Geoff Barker is back in town this weekend for a brace of benefit gigs with his son Sean.
The Barker Boys line up on Friday at the Quality Hotel's Hancocks Bar in Bournemouth for a charity show in aid of nine students from Portchester School who are travelling to Kenya to work with rural school children and study ocean conservation on a Camps International project.
Then on Saturday the Barkers lend their crafted blend of acoustic covers to the Cherries as Geoff returns to Dean Court where he was stadium annoucer for many years. They'll be playing with the Cherries' cult tribute band Reg Varney in the Inn off the Bar following the game.
