FLORAL tributes have been left near a Bournemouth play area following the discovery of a man’s body on Friday.
Police and forensics experts sealed off a piece of land close to the play park in Pelham’s Park just after 2pm.
There are currently around 20 floral tributes placed against the fence, some bearing messages.
One says: “Dearest Chrissie, fly high darling, lots of love Aunt Debbie and Antonia” and another says: “Chrissie, always a part of my world, love Aunt Sue and Uncle Jimmy.”
A resident told the Daily Echo on Friday that he had seen a blanket being used to cover up what he believed to be a body on Friday afternoon.
A blue forensics tent was erected at the scene but police have since said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The identity of the man has not been formally released.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held at a date to be fixed.
