INTERNATIONAL singing star Kelly Clarkson is returning to the Britain next year as a follow-up to last year's sold out UK tour.

She will play eight dates including the Bournemouth International Centre Sunday, March 23.

Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on October 26.

The tour kicks off in Manchester on March 14 next year and ends Brighton on march 31.

Clarkson's most recent album My December is her most personal yet and capitalises on the runaway success of 2004's Breakaway. That album sold 11 million worldwide and spawned hits like Since U Been Gone, the title track, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because of You and Walk Away.

After launching her career with the 2003 debut album Thankful Clarkson has earned two Grammy's (for Best Pop Female Vocal Performance and Best Vocal Pop Album), two American Music Awards (Favourite Adult Contemporary Female Artist and T-Mobile Text-In Fan Award), two MTV Video Music Awards (Best Pop Video and Best Female Video), a People's Choice Award (Best Female Recording Artist), and 11 Billboard Music Awards.

Clarkson was the number one digital artist on Sony BMG in 2005 and to date has sold over four million single downloads.
