DORSET animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for animals in its care this week.

Suzy is an eight-year-old cat looking for a new home as her owner passed away. She is affectionate when she wants to be but also enjoys her own space to do what she pleases. Suzy would need to be the only pet in a quiet home.

Biscuit, 14, would be a wonderful companion. She is very affectionate but can be a little nervous with new people and would need to be the only pet in a quiet home.

Cali, nine, is looking to be a companion to someone. She does best when she can bond with someone one on one. She’d need to be the only pet in a quiet home.

Sherlock , a four-year-old crossbreed, has a big personality, however he does struggle with trust. Once he knows you’re a friend and won’t hurt him, he’s a very loyal companion who loves cuddles. He’s looking for someone who can go and visit him regularly so a bond can be formed before he is rehomed. Sherlock would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Ada, a four-year-old greyhound, has a happy, playful personality. She loves to play with her toys but also loves lounging around on her duvet sunbathing. Ada is looking for an adult only home as the only pet.

Timon, a two-year-old lurcher, walks well on lead and is sociable and happy but can sometimes get over excited and think everyone wants to play. He can live with older children and like-minded dogs but not with cats.
