A POOLE mum found her 28-year-old son dead hours after he told her he was feeling unwell, an inquest heard.
Peter Humphrey got up at 4am on Friday June 7 because he felt sick, Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin was told.
When his mum went downstairs just after 9am she found him dead in the front room.
The Bournemouth inquest heard a police investigation was carried out following the death, which occurred at Mr Humphrey's home in Bedford Road South in Poole.
It concluded there were no suspicious circumstances and no third party involvement in his death.
A post mortem examination revealed Mr Humphrey died of a combined overdose.
The inquest was adjourned until April next year to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
