IT'S ONE of Bournemouth's prime retail locations. But that hasn't saved the town's branch of fashion store Oasis, whose bosses say the store must close.
Now the building which houses Oasis has gone up for rent.
The five-storey property, which covers more than 3,000 sq foot of space, costs approximately £80,000 a year to lease.
For that, according to agents Goadsby's, its new tenant will get: "A prime and established retail pitch amongst numerous multiple retailers" which is "Suitable for a variety of uses subject to planning permission."
It also flags up the building's proximity to Bournemouth Gardens and the Bh2 Leisure complex as well as the short walk to the Square.
Oasis stores in Liverpool and Chester have closed over the past year and a spokesman for Oasis confirmed the Bournemouth closure but could not give any more information.
