A NEW homeware store is opening at Castlepoint Shopping Centre today, creating 28 new jobs.
Homesense is part of the TK Maxx family and offers a selection of discount homeware and home furnishings.
The new store, which covers 24,510 square feet, opens at the shopping centre in Bournemouth at 10am.
TJX International, the owner of Homesense, announced earlier in the year their sales for the first quarter were up eight per cent across Europe and Australia, reaching £950million for the period.
Homesense originated in Canada in 2001 before expanding into Europe in 2008.
A spokesman for the store said: “We are delighted to be moving in with our sister brand TK Maxx and opening our first store in Bournemouth. We look forward to welcoming shoppers and helping them discover their own treasures and a huge range of unique homeware at irresistible prices.”
