THERE'S no doubt that when John Carpenter's Halloween first hit screens in 1978 it broke new ground in the horror genre.
The following films, which most would admit decreased in quality as they went along, secured the series as a cult favourite, justifying this two-disc 25th anniversary edition (strange, as it's now 29 years!).
There's plenty squished onto the discs, including multiple trips round Haddonfield, cast interviews, shedloads of clips from all the movies and bags of footage from the slightly bizarre Halloween conventions (oh yes, they do exist), including many panel discussions with former cast members.
True fans will be more than happy with this horrific bundle.
