MORE than 300 teenage girls and their mums queued to see glamour model Katie Price at Bournemouth's Castlepoint shopping centre on November 2.
The model, most famous for her large chest, signed copies of her books for fans including Crystal and her children's books at Waterstone's book shop.
Many fans, some dressed in the style of their hero and several accompanied by their mums, said they had queued for more than four hours to see Katie.
Her arrival at around 5pm was greeted by squeals of delight from schoolchildren who pressed their faces against the window of the bookshop to catch a glimpse of her.
Among her many fans was former Miss Bournemouth and Miss Great Britain finalist Sam Lewis, 21, who hoped to be pictured with Katie and get tips on the world of glamour modelling.
Sam said: "She's my idol and she is very like me. I love dressing up like a princess and I love taking care of myself like she does and because I am a model.
"I just want to say to her well done'. I think she's a great mum and role model to every girl all over the world."
Bournemouth mum Christine Miller there with daughter Antonia, 14, said: "I think she's very good. She's a great role model, a good mother and has worked hard for what she's got."
One group of Bournemouth girls, 17-year-olds Rachel Adams, Stacey Woodcock, Kara-Beth Walsh, and Ali Russell-Smith from Ferndown said they had queued for four-and-half hours to be sure to meet their idol whom they believed was "fantastic and down to earth".
