LOCAL photographer, Matt Pinner, from Highcliffe, has been nominated for a prize in the British Photography Awards.
Matt’s snap, titled ‘Fields of Colour’, is of a beautiful poppy field in Six Penny Handley, and is nominated in the landscape category.
He said: “It’s an amazing feeling. It’s really nice to be with amazing photographers around the country, with people I really admire and look up to.
“This is the first time (I’ve been nominated). To be honest, I didn’t like the photo myself, but I remember seeing (the field) when I was out in Six Penny Handley and my friends really liked it and I was nominated.
Talking about his chances of winning the award, Matt said it was just nice to be nominated and to see how much support he’s received from the county.
