EARLIER this week, the Daily Echo shared pictures of snowy scenes across Dorset on January 6, 2010.
We've once again raided our archives to bring you these fascinating pictures of when it snowed in Bournemouth and Poole in January 1987.
So far this winter we are yet to see any snow and temperatures of 12C were recorded on Thursday, which local forecaster Bournemouth & Poole Weather said are 3C above the average maximum in January.
No snow is on the horizon for Dorset with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for windy weather on Monday.
According to the Met Office, colder and more settled weather could be on the cards for later this month.
We'd love to hear your memories of snowy winters from the past. You can share them with us below.
