WESSEX TeamBath continued their good run of National League One form with a comfortable 3-1 win over Swiss Cottage.
The Wessex girls' joy was marred, however, after outside hitter Kerri Olding was carried off with collateral knee ligament damage that could see her sidelined for the majority of the season.
Wessex crept into an 18-15 lead in the first, Shauna Mullin continuing her sparkling form with a series of impressive shots at the net.
But Wessex were penalised for a rotational error and the Londoners closed out the opening set 25-23.
Mullin continued to dominate after the restart as Wessex looked to restore parity and despite Swiss Cottage edging into a six point lead, Wessex fought back thanks to Gabi Medricka, Olding and Helen Brown to take the second 25-17.
Both sides traded blows at the start of the third before setter Simone Lewis showed her class with a some sublime work.
Olding was replaced by Katja Gless with Wessex leading 17-11 and the sub soon found her scoring touch as her side closed out the match 25-18 (3-1).
Wessex TeamBath: Brown, Olding, Mullin, Medricka, Gless, Lewis, Rogers, Smith.
