POOLE came back with a bang after last week's disappointing trip to Fleet & Ewshot, with an 8-3 demolition job on 10-man Petersfield.
Joe White put the Dorset side in front before Sam Butterfield added to Poole's tally early on.
Petersfield hit back to reduce the deficit but soon Poole were two to the good once more.
Christian Bird latched on to a free hit to blast the ball home before cancelling out another Petersfield strike to make it 4-2 at the break.
Petersfield caught Poole napping after the restart to make it 4-3, but Ben Green's fizzing drive moments later put Poole back in control.
White took his second with aplomb and Butterfield completed his brace after some fine passing through the Poole midfield.
Scott Kirtley completed the rout five minutes from time.
SWANS WIN DERBY
SWANAGE and Wareham edged past Blandford and Sturminster 3-2.
Becky Scroggie put Swans 1-0 in front within two minutes as the Purbeckers burst out of the gates.
The visitors drew level early in the second half but Swans showed their fighting spirit, Lynnette Thompson converting a short corner to make it 2-1.
The North Dorset outfit pulled it back to 2-2 moments later, but Scroggie capped a fine individual performance 12 minutes before the final whistle to seal the points for Swans.

- The second team went down 1-0 to Bournemouth, while the men's side fought out a 0-0 draw with Wimborne Wayfarers.
POOLE BEATEN
WIMBORNE Wayfarers took care of Poole 5-2 in their Channel Division clash.
Laura Humphries (3), Natasha Hann and Gemma Newson-Smith were Wimborne's scorers.
- The second team, meanwhile, came out 3-1 winners at Bournemouth with Katrina Cole, Becky Riggs and Sarah Parker doing the damage.
- Wimborne's men, however, crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Haslemere, while the seconds beat City of Portsmouth 4-1 after goals from Jon Sainsbury and James Champion (3).
