BOURNEMOUTH Beach was busy with walkers today, however all were keeping their distance.
The UK is nearing the end of the second week of the initial three-week lockdown imposed by prime minister Boris Johnson to fight coronavirus.
People are not allowed out their house unless they are shopping for essentials like food, helping an elderly or vulnerable person, travelling to and from work or getting one bit of exercise a day.
When out, people are advised to stay at least two metres part, and the vast majority of people in Bournemouth were doing so.
The Sandbanks chain ferry was also deserted, as only one car used it to cross at lunchtime. The carpark was also empty.
It comes as 38,168 people in the UK tested positive for the virus. 3,605 people who tested positive have died.
