A MAN who admitted assaulting a police officer in Bournemouth custody centre has been jailed for 28 weeks.
Scott Darren Sanders, 36, of Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth pleaded guilty to assaulting the sergeant in the Madeira Road centre on March 28.
He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence for assaulting a man by beating him in Bournemouth on May 7 last year.
He was jailed for a total of 28 weeks and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122 when he appeared before magistrates in Poole on Monday March 30.
