OFFICERS investigating the theft of a £600 gold chain from a Poole jewellers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
The theft took place at H Samuel in the Dolphin Shopping Centre around 3.15pm on Wednesday, February 12. However, Dorset Police have only just released the image.
A man entered the store, browsed the jewellery before asking to try on a gold chain.
As soon as it was around his neck he ran out of the store without paying.
He was spotted leaving the shopping centre via the service road towards Poole Park.
Police Constable Daniel Goodman, of Poole police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have now obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.
“If anyone has any information as to his identity, I would ask you to please get in touch.”
