THIRTEEN people have now died at hospitals in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area after testing positive for coronavirus.
According to the latest figures released by NHS England, two people lost their lives under the care of Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals on March 30.
But the most recent death was on March 31 at Poole Hospital.
Across Dorset, the total number of people who have lost their lives after testing positive for COVID-19 is 22.
But the region has seen 173 people test positive for the virus.
After testing positive for coronavirus, one person died at Dorset County Hospital on April 3.
While the most recent person who died after testing positive for the virus at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust took place on April 2.
One person died on Wednesday, March 25, while under the care of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, while a further two people died at Poole Hospital the following day.
A total of four people died at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals between Friday, March 27 and Monday, March 30.
While three people died at Poole Hospital on March 27, 28 and 29.
A statement from the NHS yesterday said: "A further 637 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 3,939.
"Patients were aged between five years and 104 years old. 40 of the 637 patients (aged between 48 and 93 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
"Their families have been informed."
A total of 4,313 people have now died in the UK after testing positive for COVID-19.
