A HEARTFELT message thanking the NHS has been marked on Bournemouth Beach.
The large tribute to frontline staff working hard amid the coronavirus pandemic was spotted by passers-by on Saturday evening.
It is not known who created the imprint, but it appears that the message in the sand may have been created by a large vehicle.
Passer-by Rob Stewart said: "I'm not sure who made it but there were a lot of people admiring as I walked down fisherman's walk zigzag yesterday evening.
"It looks like a vehicle hence the track marks so possibly a council cleaner or sand mover earlier in the day.
"No coastguards were on duty yesterday so I don't think it was one of theirs. Whoever it was certainly has a warm heart."
