Letter to the Editor: NHS needs equipment not applause
APPLAUSE for the NHS workers?
Of course, but they are doing what they have always done, which is to cope with all the stresses and strains involved in doing a difficult job with limited resources.
Why not go and bang your drums outside Boris’s door, wherever he has conveniently holed himself up?
The excuses for not providing testing kits and PPE are pathetic and just not acceptable.
The only preparation that this government made was to bury their heads because 'oh no, this sort of thing wouldn’t happen in England'.
