MORE than 60 firefighters are currently tackling a huge blaze at a Dorset manor house.

Crews were called to the house, between Dorchester and Yeovil, this morning and are being assisted at the scene by police and ambulance personnel.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 10.55am by the fire service requesting assistance with traffic management as it dealt with a property fire at Chalmington near Dorchester.
"Officers attended and road closures were put in place. The fire service subsequently put signage in place and informed officers that their assistance was no longer required. We left the scene at around 12.45pm."
