THE NEW headquarters for Lewis Manning Hospice Care in Poole have received over £6,000 of lighting for free courtesy of a Creekmoor based domestic lighting supplier.

Saxby Lighting, which is part of the wider Poole Lighting group, is the latest business to offer its support whilst refurbishment work continues throughout the Hospice’s new Longfleet Road premises.

From its new home, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care exists to help the people of Poole, Purbeck and East Dorset with life limiting illnesses.

Area Sales Manager for Saxby Lighting for the South West region Sam Gilbert said: “We want to help people in our community and when we were contacted asking for help by Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, we were delighted to help this incredible charity.

“We supply fittings which are ideal for an array of areas, both exterior and interior, suitable for the home, office or warehouse, so we knew we could help the Dorset charity with their refurbishment.

“Our experience means we can deliver stunning solutions using the latest energy efficient technologies, perfected by in-house designers here in the UK. We take pride in offering the latest design innovations to ensure quality installations suit every environment.”

The Lewis Manning Hospice Care hub has also recently profited from a large donation of office furniture from London based company OboLife.com.

The charity’s aim is to increase physical and social well-being, reduce isolation and loneliness, support people to stay in their homes longer, and alleviate the huge pressures on family and carers.

Saxby Lighting has been designing and manufacturing lights for commercial and domestic use for more than 30 years, with products sold throughout the UK and Europe.
