A FURTHER 828 hospital patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 6,483.
NHS England said patients were aged between 22 and 103-years-old.
46 of the 828 patients aged between 35 and 96-years-old had no known underlying health condition, NHS England said.
Their families have been informed.
London had the highest number of deaths with 201, followed by the Midlands with 171.
A total of 37 deaths were reported at hospitals in the South West.
