DOZENS of car parks across Dorset will remain closed over the Easter weekend amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, almost 40 car parks have been closed in a bid to deter visitors.
People have been told to stay at home and only leave the house for the following reasons; to go to work if they cannot do so from home, shopping for basic necessities like food and medicine, for one form of exercise a day which should be done close to people’s homes and for any medical need.
Car parks are closed in the Bournemouth area:

- Bath Road South
- Beacon Road
- Durley Chine
- Hengistbury Head
- Kingfisher Barn
- Monkey Island
- Overstrand
- Solent Beach
- Solent Meads Golf
- Southbourne Crossroads
- Throop Mill
- Undercliff Drive
- Warren Edge
- Woodside Road
Car parks closed in the Christchurch area:
- Avon Run
- Avon Beach
- Highcliffe Top
- Highcliffe Castle
- Mudeford Quay
- Steamer Point
- Southcliffe Road
- Stanpit Marsh
Car parks closed in the Poole area:
- Beach Road
- Branksome Chine
- Branksome Dene
- Delph Woods
- Ferry Way
- Ham Common
- Hamworthy Park
- Lake Pier
- Newfoundland
- Poole Park
- Sandbanks
- Shore Road
- Western Road
- Whitecliff
The car parks at Upton Country Park and Hengistbury Head have also been closed.
