A FURTHER five people have died in Dorset after contracting coronavirus.
As of April 7, 16 people had died under the care of Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals (RBCH), 15 at Poole Hospital, 11 at Dorset County Hospital and four under the care of the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
The latest deaths at RBCH came as two people died on April 7. One person died on April 6 and April 5. Three people passed away on April 3.
The first death at RBCH came on March 25.
The death toll at Poole Hospital and Dorset Healthcare University has not changed from the previous day.
Two more people have died at Dorset County Hospital. These came on April 7 and a second person on April 6.
The death toll in England now stands at 6,483.
