A MAN has been arrested following a burglary on a store in Bournemouth.
Police received a report of a burglary on progress in the early hours of April 8.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 2.55am on Wednesday, April 8, to a report of a burglary in progress at the London Market store on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth.
“Officers attended and a man was detained.
“A quantity of tobacco was recovered and officers assisted the owner with arranging for a door panel, which had been broken during the incident, to be boarded up.
“A man in his 30s, from Bournemouth, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is assisting officers with enquiries.”
