OFFICERS searching for a missing Poole man have confirmed he has been located.

Jacek Nowotnik, 29, was reported missing having last been seen in Ringwood Road at around 1.30pm on April 8.

Following searches by officers, with support from Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and the NPAS helicopter, he was located in the Bournemouth area.

The helicopter was spotted above head in the Branksome and Poole area at around 9pm yesterday evening.

Dorset Police said it would like to thank everyone who shared its appeal.
