Over 50 people have now died in Dorset after contracting coronavirus, Public Health England figures have revealed.
The latest stats show 20 people have now died under the care of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, 18 at Poole Hospital, 12 at Dorset County Hospital and four at Dorset Healthcare University.
This takes the county-wide total to 54.
The latest deaths at RBCH came as four people passed away on April 7. Two people died on April 6, one on April 5 and four on April 3.
All the other deaths at RBCH came between March 25 and April 2.
At Poole Hospital, three people died on April 7, one on April 6 and three on April 5. Two people each died on April 2 and April 3.
The other deaths came between March 26 and March 31.
Dorset County Hospital has seen a rise of one death, coming on April 7, the second recorded death at that hospital on that day.
Nobody has died at Dorset Healthcare University since April 4.
The total for the whole of England now stands at 7,248.
