A POLICE officer spoke to a couple while patrolling the East and West Cliff who decided to climb over the fence and enjoy the view.
It comes as the nation is in its third week of lockdown imposed by government to help fight coronavirus.
A post on the Bournemouth South Police Facebook page said: “PCSO Pete has been out on foot patrol along the East Cliff and West Cliff today, before heading back into town.
“These two thought that during this national emergency they would climb over the fence, putting their lives at risk to enjoy the view.
“Thankfully Pete educated them in the dangers of doing this and the amount of resources that would be required should they get into danger!
“Please continue to stick to government rules it really is helping!”
