A NEW Milton teenager has set himself a gruelling challenge to raise money for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.
Callum Taylor, aged 14, decided to raise money for the NHS by performing 1000 kick-ups in one fell swoop.
He was inspired by his football team Wimborne Town after they suggested the players attempt 100 kick-ups at home.
Callum's dad, James explained: "Callum said that he wanted to help the NHS by doing his own challenge. He decided to try and achieve 1000 kick-ups."
So far, Callum has managed to perform 700 kick-ups in one sitting and has raised over £1000 in three days, already halfway to his target of £2000.
Callum is doing the kick-ups in his garden every other day, determined to attain his goal of 1000.
James said: "Callum's mind is set on doing 1000 kick-ups, he is very keen. Helping the NHS is a major factor but doing this also improves his confidence and helps him achieve his goals.
"I am a very proud dad."
