FANS of dance had a feast at the Mayor of Poole's charity fete on April 30, 2000.
Arena events included presentations by two dance academies, line dancing and the Wessex Majorettes.
Old-fashioned candy floss stalls, maypole dancing and barrel organ music lent an air of nostalgia to the outdoor event.
Kung Fu was also showcased amid all the fun of the fair in the glorious sunshine.
Proceeds went to the mayor's chosen charities Age Concern Pool and eye charity The International Glaucoma Association.
Then-mayor Cllr Bill Wretham said: "The weather has been very kind and we've had an enormous number of people.
"It's been the biggest number of stalls ever and the biggest there will ever be because it's special for the millennium."
