NEARLY 500 people in Dorset have been confirmed as suffering from coronavirus.
The latest number of laboratory-confirmed cases in the county has been revealed by Public Health England.
There are 238 cases in the BCP Council area and 203 in the Dorset Council area.
Neighbouring Hampshire has 1,678 cases, one of the highest in England.
A total of 93,873 cases are now confirmed across England with the numbers expected to rise dramatically as more tests are carried out.
