A further 651 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in the past 24 hours, NHS England has announced this afternoon.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England has risen to 11,656.
Patients were aged between 20 and 101-years-old.
Twenty of the 651 patients - aged between 20 and 101 years old - had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
The South West recorded 31 deaths.
London had the highest number of deaths with 153.
