LISTENING to the news on a daily basis all we hear is the shortage of PPE for our NHS and other front line services.
This morning it was blamed on the orders not arriving from China in time or being incorrect when they arrive.
Surely we have enough skilled people and facilities in our country to produce the equipment needed.
Why do we always have to rely on other countries for our products when we have a wealth of resources in our own country.
We used to be one of the industrial hubs of the world, why did we let it all go?
One of the things we should learn from this terrible event is that we need to be a little more self-sufficient.
There are so many people showing kindness to others, families spending time together and our NHS and all other key workers going above and beyond the call of duty, lets hope this improves our wonderful country for the better.
