A WOMAN who stole alcoholic drinks and cat food worth £116 from Waitrose in Ringwood has appeared in court.

Gemma Anne McNichol, 33, of Roumelia Lane in Bournemouth admitted committing the offence on September 9 last year when she appeared before Poole magistrates on April 8.

She also pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards two people in Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth on April 7, possession of a bank card for the course of fraud on February 9 and fraudulently using a bank card to withdraw £10 from a cash machine in Sea Road, Boscombe, also on February 9.

McNichol admitted breaching a supervision order following a period of imprisonment on four occasions in February and March.

She was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, fined £30 and ordered to pay costs of £60 and a victim surcharge of £122.
