MOTORISTS experienced delays on the A31 due to an overturned truck on Thursday.
The crash took place at Roundhouse roundabout, where the main road meets the A350 Poole Road.
There were reports of slow moving traffic on the A31, with police put road closures in place.
The fire service were called to the incident, with a crew from Poole attending the scene shortly before 1pm.
Crews made the scene safe and cleared a small quantity of oil and coolant using dry granules and soil. One casualty was left in care of South Western Ambulance Service, the fire service said.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.50pm on Thursday, April 16, to a report of an overturned truck on the A31 at the Roundhouse roundabout.
"It was reported that the driver was out of the vehicle but we can’t confirm details of any injuries at this stage. No other vehicles are involved.
"Officers are currently at the scene, along with fire, and road closures are in place."
