BH ONE heads-up a cracking bill on Saturday at its recently appointed fortnightly residency at The Gander.
Catch experimental three-piece Toupe, rock outfit The Clams, punk-trio Ethel and alt-rockers Ten To Never. The Rock 'n' Roll Town Crier will be acting as DJ/compere. Entry is £2 before 8.30pm and £4 after.
- IF you haven't had your fill of rock 'n' rollers The Clams over the weekend, you can catch them all over again when Wimborne-based music community Drums & Wires present the act live on Sunday.
The trio, who made it into the hot 100 in Rock Sound magazine last year, have been making a splash on the music scene.
Metal Hammer described them as "a six-armed riff beast, they pump out gargantuan tunes that sound exactly like Stonehenge in a lightning storm would if it was music rather than a monument."
If ever you needed a reason to go and see the band, that was definitely it. Hijera and Scarlet Letter Union will be supporting. All the action takes place at Wimborne Town Football Club in Cowgrove from 8pm.
Tickets are £3 from Square Records or entry is £4 on the door.
