Officers on patrol on Friday morning (April 17) encountered several people who were not following lockdown guidance.
They stopped a man who had come from Portsmouth to collect a fish tank, as well as a family who'd travelled 60 miles to visit a relative and another family who'd come from Gloucestershire with their caravan.

Officers from Dorset Police's traffic unit said the majority of stops were for an essential purpose.
They're continuing with vehicle checks and dealing with any identified offences, and say fewer non-essential journeys are being made now the weather has changed.
