JUST when you thought the box marked Gor Blimey Fem Popstrel was full, along comes Ms Nicole with her acerbic couplets, acoustic riffs and tomboy mock-er-nee street suss.
Another MySpace success story, her page brought her to the attention of producers Johnny Douglas and Tony Hoffer as her friend-count kissed the sky. But it's not all hype - Tabloid Queen takes some well-aimed swipes at the fame-hungry and notoriety-tarts; Na Nighty does the same with an over-jealous ex-boyfriend; while Lights Out shows her softer side, with its coo-ing sweet nothings to another beau.
Musically, it's none too sophisticated with most songs couched in a session band's take on The Housemartins or The Smiths, but there's no denying its instant accessibility and charm.
