ANOTHER 429 patients have died in the past 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus, NHS England has said.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England has risen to 14,829.
Patients were aged between 40 and 101-years-old.
NHS England said 15 of the 429 patients - aged between 49 and 92-years-old - had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
A total of 19 patients died in the South West.
The North West recorded the highest number of deaths with 112.
