TWO people have been charged with attempted murder following a reported stabbing in Bournemouth.
At around 2am on April 19, police received a report that a man in Argyll Road sustained stab wounds to his chest and neck.
Emergency services were called and took the victim, aged in his 50s, to hospital for treatment on his injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Following their enquiries, Dorset Police officers arrested a 63-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, both local.
They were charged with attempted murder and are due to appear at Poole Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, April 21.
Detective constable Ben Swain, or Bournemouth CID, said: “These arrests follow a fast-moving investigation and our enquiries into this matter are ongoing.
“I would urge anyone with any information that can assist our investigation to please contact police.”
